Erikel, yaşadığı FETÖ zulmünü SABAH'a anlattı. Avukat Yusuf Erikel, 2007'de Ergenekon davasında tutuklanan teğmenler ve Toplumsal Dönüşüm Yayınevi yöneticilerinin avukatlığını yapıyordu. Bu yayınevi, 1999'de Doç. Dr. Necip Hablemitoğlu'nun Gülen hakkında ses getiren "Köstebek" kitabının da yayıncısıydı. Erikel, Silivri Cezaevi'ndeki duruşmalarda yaptığı savunmalarla dikkat çekti. Bu dava üzerinden insanlara zulüm yapıldığını ancak bu zulümleri yapanların "Ebrehe'nin orduları" gibi bozguna uğrayacağını söyledi.
